My husband wants to play golf and I want a beach with good snorkeling. Which resorts do you recommend?

Tiny, low-lying Anguilla offers some of the Caribbean’s best in both departments. Greg Norman’s Temenos Golf Club (temenosgolfclub.com) is the centerpiece of a brand new St. Regis resort. Anguilla boasts a diverse group of beaches, from sheltered, wavy coves (good for body surfing) to Crocus Bay Beach, a great spot for exploring the marine world.

We’d also hold up Maui as a great golf-and-snorkel destination. No matter where you choose to stay and play on the Kihei Coast—at Wailea, Makena or Kapalua Resort, where Coore and Crenshaw’s Plantation Course is an absolute must—you’ll want to check out the underwater Molokini Crater. This extinct volcanic cone is an enormous fishbowl, with tons of rare tropical species, sea turtles and excellent visibility.
